First day of chemo tomorrow

Just a quick note (I promise . . . ) that tomorrow a.m. is Bob's first round of chemo. He'll be at the U all day, and then back at it for more on Friday. His mom and dad came up tonight and are going to take him to the appointment and bring him home; I'll walk the doggies and stop in to see him on my way to work. Tomorrow's treatment is expected to last several hours. . .

If you could all just send up a little prayer, think a good thought, throw pixie dust, whatever it is you do Bob's way, I'd so appreciate it and I know he would too. I'm tellin' ya, it all helps; we feel it . . . It's been all talk up till now (mostly from diarrhea mouth here) . . . now that the "big day" is here, it all comes crashing in, in a very scary way, how real this is . . . all for now.

peace,
Jen

  2. We send our love, best, and prayers to you both for tomorrow and always...I did a little bibidee-BOBidee-boo action with Amelia's princess wand to ask for Bob's cancer to magically disappear. We really want it to for you both, but know this is a scary and complex process for Bob and for you.Sso please, please, please call us at any time if you need somethin, anything, and we'll bibidee-BOBidee-boo ourselves right over for you.

We love you both to the moon and back...I called out to all our angels tonight, too, to work overtime for the next several weeks--they've agreed. Dad said they just got a Wi and the Wi Fit and bowling "upstairs", which dad particularly loves the latter. But, he said for you and for Bubo, he'd forgo the two for however long it takes. He's joining Jade's brother Jon, who was off playing the guitar, jamming with Hendrix. So, the two will be doing some extensive guidance over the time you and Bob need.

Our love and prayers from the Valley,
    Jilly, Jade, and Ameliabedelia

  10. Hi from Lucille Thares in Butterfield, MN. Your dad was my principal forever and I have kept in touch. My thoughts and prayers are being sent your way and my pain is yours as I just lost my husband of 54 years so we share a common thread of pain. You will heal and be whole again. Time seems to be the essence of the moment; meanwhile be gentle with yourself and ride the waves like the trouper I know you are. God Bless Lucille
